• Urad is one of the most important pulses of the Pahadi culture as no auspicious occasion is complete without serving Urad ki Dal and Bhat (rice) to the guests.
• Since our Urad comes from the high altitude chemical-free farms of Uttarakhand, it has a rich and distinctive taste of its own and takes much lesser time to cook.
• Urad is a highly nutritious pulse and a rich source of protein, carbohydrates, fiber and sodium.
• To naturally preserve our pulses and lend them longevity we coat them with organic turmeric powder.
