This variety of Rajma is native to Munsiyari in Uttarakhand. These beans were organically grown at Chaand Bagh orchards in Sharontha located at an altitude of 7000 ft.

These beans come from our orchard where there is no use of chemical fertilizers or pesticides. They are also free from fungicides. Instead, only cow manure was used during the planting season.  The beans have been hand sorted and sun-dried.

White Rajma has a subtle, earthy taste and requires less time to cook compared to regular rajma. White Rajma is an excellent source of protein and carbohydrates and is additionally rich in vitamins and minerals. Due to their typical and subtle taste, fiber-rich content, and colour, these kidney beans are beneficial for all ages.

How To Cook – 

  • Wash and soak the rajma overnight. 
  • Then, drain and rinse the beans. 
  • Add soaked beans and water to a pressure cooker. The water should top the beans by about 2″. 
  • Wait till the pressure has dropped, then open and drain the excess water. Use the cooked beans as required.
