She Earth | Sun – Dried Apples 200gms


Drying is a preservation method that works by removing all of the water that food-spoiling microorganisms and enzymes need to thrive. As water evaporates during drying, the fruit shrinks in size and the remaining nutrients become more concentrated. By comparison, 1/2 cup of dried fruits contain as much nutrition as 1 cup of fresh ones.

These apples are Sun-dried, with no added sugars in the pristine environment of the Himalayan mountains. Dried Apples are one of the most healthy forms of snacks for daily consumption.

Recipe for Turkish Tea – 

Requirements – 

  • 1 cup of chopped dried apples 
  • 2 ½ cups water
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 tsp lemon zest

Instructions – 

  • Put chopped apples, water and cinnamon sticks together in a saucepan until tender.
  • Share it into cups when it is still hot, put cinnamon sticks into each, sprinkle lemon zest on them and serve.
