How we make our Jaggery powder –
First, we harvest the organic sugarcane, grown traditionally, free from pesticides and chemical fertilizers. The cane is crushed and is used to extract juice, which is then cooked slowly for hours in an Iron kadai on firewood until it thickens. The product is cooled and shaped into small discs by the producers. We crush the jaggery lumps to make powder, which is more stable in storage and easy for you to use!
How to use –
As a sugar alternative, our jaggery powder can be used in any dessert. The deep earthy flavours of both are amplified when jaggery powder is added to coffee, making for a wonderful beverage at any time of day. Nothing warms the heart like hot rotis dripping with molten ghee and jaggery on a cold winter day.
Storage – Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.
Best before 12 months from the date of packaging.
