The fiddlehead fern, locally known as “Lingri” is collected from the hills of Himachal. These leaves are harvested at their early stage when they are young, fresh and tightly coiled with firm stems. They can be found growing around streams or springs near small forests. Our local picklers prepare these scrumptious pickles using minimal oil for flavour, which also makes them a great addition to any health-conscious diet. The Fiddlehead Fern has anti- inflammatory properties; it is good for bones; enhances immunity; and more importantly tastes great!
