Our creamy vegan chocolate spread is an instant heart winner and is made using cacao, peanuts, cashews and jaggery!
We get our organic raw cacao beans from Tamil Nadu, and slow roast them to bring out the flavour. Each cacao bean is hand-shelled by the local women of Dhanotu village before it dances in the blender with the rest of our ingredients. The result is smooth, liquid chocolate which can be spread on your morning toast, you can also make cookies, chocolate bars, choco-balls, smoothies or just lick it straight from the spoon!
This chocolate is sweetened using jaggery (gur)! Jaggery is a superfood that is high in minerals and nutrients and provides wholesome nourishment. So, add a dollop to make every snack healthier and people around you happier.
Interestingly, while you are relishing our vegan chocolate spread sweetened with Jaggery, you are also helping the animals at the same time as all the proceeds from the sales of the products are used to support our animal clinic.
All of our products are made by local women from Dhanotu village in Peepal Farm’s solar-powered kitchen. All profits go towards running our stray animal rescue centre and social enterprise.
